The New School Montessori Soccer Story
New Beginnings...A Soccer Program at The New School Montessori
In Spring 2024, seeds were planted in hopes that the first athletic program would begin at The New School Montessori!
Thanks to an incredible amount of support and interest given by the TNSM community, the desire and determination to make it happen was undeniable, and in the Fall of 2024, TNSM officially joined the Cincinnati SAY East soccer program as it's own independent district.
Registering over 60 students, and 70% of all eligible players(!!) at TNSM, our little school was able to fill 5 soccer teams, including three Passers teams (1st & 2nd graders), one Wings team (3rd & 4th graders), and one Strikers team (5th & 6th graders).
As a small community full of children who are passionate about soccer and love to play with their peers, we are so proud to finally have a program where they can play the sport they love with their friends and classmates.
